Duties involve building queries to support our clients' reporting needs, optimizing existing code, assisting with import and export design, and building and supporting data visualizations. Additionally the VP – Product Integration will be responsible for assisting in designing and testing the products that the company offers. Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Manage timelines and expectations.
  • Design, write and review system requirements, functional design specifications and documentation.

  • Perform manual testing and lead teams of testers across all product lines.

Director - Testing and Quality Assurance

The Rockport Group is currently seeking a Director of Testing and Quality Assurance in its New York office. This role leads all aspects of testing Rockport's set of SaaS products including functional, regression and integration testing. The candidate is expected to drive forward the company's testing approaches, including automated testing as well as manual testing plans. The candidate will maintain an understanding of leading QA tools and technologies for mission-critical web, database and related applications. The testing scope includes the main SaaS product, other legacy applications, customer configurations and related interfaces as well as producing periodic status reports on test progress.

Required Qualifications
  • BS in Computer science or related field
  • 5+ years' experience applying advanced QA methodologies
